So this is how it’s going to play out, huh? If you thought you’d heard the last of Juan Pablo Galavis, last season’s widely disliked “Bachelor” who chose KC’s Nikki Ferrell, check this out.
Andi Dorfman, the Atlanta lawyer who famously gave Juan Pablo the brush-off in “The Bachelor” finals, is ready to pick her own guy in the new season of “The Bachelorette,” which begins Monday.
But not before ABC takes one more swipe – and we suspect not the last – at Juan Pablo, who by the way spent time here in town with Nikki over the Mother’s Day weekend.
The first poster for the new show has Andi’s face on it with the words, “She's looking for the right Juan,” written on it.
But the word “Juan” is crossed out and replaced with the word “one.”
The show premieres under a sad cloud.
During filming one of the bachelors, Eric Hill, died in a paragliding accident on April 23. He had already been eliminated from the show and his appearance has not been edited out.
“When I heard the news, I was devastated,” Andi tellsPeople magazine
. “Shock, devastation, grief. It's something you never could have predicted [or] expected.
“I will always remember Eric's love for life. People say, 'Oh he lived life to the fullest.’ But Eric really was the epitome of someone who lived life to the fullest.
“This man had amazing stories and great experiences. His sense of adventure inspired not only me, but every guy in the house, every producer, every crew member. Everybody says they want to do stuff in their life but he was really doing it.”
The 25 guys who will compete for Andi’s hand have been revealed on theshow’s website
