When an image of a Caitlyn Jenner Halloween costume made its way online, transgender activists and Jenner supporters were not happy.
They claimed it was dehumanizing, insensitive and something that should not be joked about.
But in an interview with Matt Lauer, Jenner disagreed.

“I’m in on the joke,” Jenner told Lauer. “I don’t think it’s offensive at all. I know the community does, and they’ve gotten a lot of criticism for doing it.”
In fact, the only shot Jenner took at the costume’s creators was that it could have been done better.
“I could have done my own costume!” Jenner said. “I mean, that was a serious bustier on the cover of Vanity Fair. I mean at least get some good clothes.
“You’ve got to enjoy life. Life’s too short. I can’t get too upset about that type of stuff.”
We agree with Jenner — there’s no need for her to get overly upset. That’s what Internet trolls are for.
