Will the real Colonel Sanders please stand up?

According to KFC, the “real” Colonel Sanders is now being played by Norm Macdonald, comedian and former “SNL” cast member.

Macdonald’s stint follows Darrell Hammond, who donned the silver hair and beard in the fast food company’s commercials just a few months ago.

"Other than not quite looking like him, his voice being different, and his inability to cook the world's best chicken, we thought Norm was the perfect choice to play the Real Colonel,” KFC's chief marketing officer Kevin Hochman said in a press release. “As part of the deal, Macdonald stars in new commercials which show him hanging out in a stretch while limo, in his office, and with ‘children's mandolin band.’”

One commenter on the company’s YouTube page claimed Jerry Seinfeld is rumored to be the next Colonel Sanders.

Other commenters requested Louis C.K. and Kenan Thompson as the next Colonels, to which we say: the more, the merrier.
