Stargazing | Keira Knightley of two minds about ‘Anna Karenina’

Anna as anti-hero

Love her or hate her? Sounds like

Keira Knightley

can’t make up her mind about

Tolstoy

’s Anna Karenina, the doomed Russian aristocrat she plays in the movie of the same name, which opens in Kansas City on Nov. 30.

“I originally read the book when I was about 19,” Keira tells The Huffington Post. “I remember her as being incredibly innocent and the victim, and I remember everybody else being hideous and it not being her fault. All of a sudden, I read it again and went, ‘Oh. Wow.’

“I don’t think she is the anti-heroine, but there are certain points within the piece where you do hold her up and go, ‘I don’t like you and, morally, I have a problem with what you’re doing.’ ”

We’re what? Janeane Garofalo

has been married for the last 20 years and didn’t know it.

Here’s the story, as told at a New York Comedy Festival reunion over the weekend for “The Ben Stiller Show.”

Back in the early 1990s, Janeane and

Rob Cohen

, a writer on the show, got drunk and got married at a drive-through Vegas wedding chapel, in a cab no less. (But they didn’t think it was legal.)

Fast forward to now: Rob wants to get married, for real, and finds out he’s still married to Janeane. “Rob and I got married, for real, which we had to have a notary dissolve not 30 minutes before we got here tonight,” Janeane told the festival crowd.

A hoofer’s hopes Cheryl Burke

’s feet must really hurt because the “Dancing With the Stars” pro is already plotting life after the show. She tells Entertainment Weekly that she interviewed with the folks at “The Bachelorette” because she needs help finding love.

“I’ve been around the same people for the last six years,” she said. “I have maybe a month and a half of down time, and all I want to do during that time is be with my family and sleep, so it’s hard for me to be introduced to guys. I make the wrong choices.”

Fifty shades of no way

A 41-year-old British banker is divorcing her husband because he wouldn’t play out the kinky, S sex scenes from “Fifty Shades of Grey” with her.

“She thought their sex life had hit a rut; he never remembered Valentine’s Day and he never complimented her on her appearance,” the woman’s attorney,

Amanda McAlister

, told the Daily Mail.

“So she bought sexy underwear in an attempt to get her husband more involved. She said, ‘Let’s make things more interesting.’ But when he still didn’t take any notice, she told him he had a boring attitude (toward) sex and she was fed up.”
