Prince William and Kate are expecting baby No. 2 in April, Kensington Palace announced on Monday.

And, contrary to rumors, there was no mention of twins. Darn.

“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in April 2015,” said the palace’s brief statement.

What a special month that will be. The Duke and Duchess will celebrate their fourth wedding anniversary on April 29 and Queen Elizabeth will turn 89 on April 21.

The palace also announced that Kate, who suffered from severe morning sickness while pregnant with her first child, Prince George, is going through the same thing now, “but her condition is steadily improving.”

Our fingers are crossed for a little princess.
