It seems that Tanner Tolbert of Kansas City might have found love in a hopeless place — on “Bachelor in Paradise.”
In Monday’s episode, Tanner received a rose from Jade Roper of Los Angeles. The two hit it off in the first episode and have been a couple on the show ever since. The show, filmed in Mexico, features former “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” contestants who are looking for a second chance at love.
As of now, Jade and Tanner have stayed away from drama and only provided commentary on the other contestants’ quest for love. When the others are yelling or crying at one another, these two are usually seen in the corner holding hands or drinking margaritas. They have even joked on Twitter about their lack of air time.

But Jade did get some love from fans when she called out Clare for accusing the cast of being on the show for the “wrong reasons.” At the rose ceremony, Jade told Clare that she was “here for love.” Tanner previously admitted that his feelings for Jade after one date were much stronger than anything he felt for Kaitlyn Bristowe on the most recent season of “The Bachelorette.”
So maybe Tanner and Jade are a match made in “Bachelor” heaven? Fans are certainly rooting for them.
“Bachelor in Paradise” airs at 7 p.m. Sundays and Mondays on ABC.
