, an Olathe South sophomore, makes his second appearance on “Jeopardy!” today (4 p.m. on KSHB, Channel 41). He’s one of nine students competing in the semifinals of the show’s Teen Tournament.
Although it sure looked like Evan won $12,600 on last Friday’s show, that turns out to be fake money — the win just ensured him a spot in the semifinals. Still, even if he loses in this round, he goes home with $10,000. If he advances to the finals, he has a shot at the $75,000 grand prize. This week’s shows were taped last month in Washington, D.C.

Never EVER heckleRussell Brand
’s ex-husband verbally eviscerated a heckler at a show in Atlantic City over the weekend when the man yelled out Katy’s name, then screamed “God save the queen!” during a bit on the royal family.
Russell walked into the audience to face his tormentor.
“You look like somebody who’s fallen off the outside of a church,” Russell told him. “And what is it that you have rattling around your mind, some bizarre combination of alcohol and idiocy some cocktail of nothing. And yet the confidence to continue shouting. They say of course, don’t they, that empty vessels make the most noise. What an enormous echo of nothingness from you.
“I think silence is your friend. I think keep your lips firmly, firmly clamped together. Because everything that comes out of your mouth, from your idiotic announcements to your disgusting halitosis that’s coming through this room, is an abomination.”Justin’s a grad
, who tells British newspaper The Daily Telegraph that he’s now officially a high school graduate.
“I just finished high school. I passed my test — I’m free! It was hard doing school and work every day,” said Justin, 18.
“(Graduating) was something my mom really wanted me to do, so I had to do it for her. I mean, this kind of lifestyle has given me a different perspective on life. I’ve been able to travel the world. At school, usually you have to do a lot of writing and reading. I’m not really into that stuff. I like to be out there.”
