beat CNN in their much hyped Twitter race.
Kutcher reached 1 million followers about 30 minutes before CNN passed the mark at about 2:15 this morning.

The Punk'd star had challenged the news network, vowing to donate 10,000 mosquito bed nets to charity for World Malaria Day in late April if he beat CNN, and 1,000 if he lost. CNN agreed to do the same.
After his big win - no single Twitter account had previously reached 1 million followers - Kutcher celebrated with champagne, surrounded by his wife,Demi Moore
, and some friends.
"We are over a million. CNN is still trying to get there. And that is just how it goes," Kutcher said as he popped open the bubbly. "There are a million people that need to be thanked for this."
Kutcher and Moore then did a victory dance to Kool the Gang's "Celebration."
"This is David versus Goliath," Kutcher said. "This just shows how people want to get information. It is about us. It means that one man can have a voice as loud as a media network."
