has placed “The Manor” on the market at a price that makes it the most expensive home for sale in the United States.

The exclusive Holmby Hills estate is no fixer-upper. The French chateau-style mansion has 56,500 square feet of space on more than 4.6 acres and is the largest home in Los Angeles County. One other perk: The Playboy Mansion’s not far away.

Spelling obviously lived like a king with the money he raked in producing some of our favorite TV shows, including "Dynasty,” “Charlie’s Angels” and “Beverly Hills 90210.” He died in 2006.
