Josh and Anna Duggar have welcomed a baby girl, a happy moment for the embattled Duggar family who had their popular reality show, “19 Kids and Counting,” canceled last week.

Josh announced the news on Twitter, posting a photo of himself with his wife and their fourth child.

Josh, 27, has been at the center of a media firestorm since May when it became public that he had inappropriately touched some of his own sisters and a babysitter when he was a teenager.

TLC just announced last week that it is canceling the Duggar family’s reality show, but not before it airs a documentary about survivors of molestation, which will involve two of Josh’s sisters.

“The recent attention around the Duggars has sparked a critical and important conversation about child protection,” TLC said in canceling the show.

Meredith is the fourth of Josh and Anna’s children, joining Mackynzie, 5, Michael, 4, and Marcus, 2.

Proud grandparents Michelle and JimBob Duggar publicly congratulated the young parents with a video.
