Kensington Palace on Thursday released official portraits of Princess Charlotte to celebrate her christening.

And it must be said: Awwwwwwwwww.

The pictures were taken by famed fashion photographer Mario Testino on Sunday, right after Charlotte was christened.

One of the photos shows Charlotte with her parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and her equally adorable big brother, dubbed “Gorgeous” George.

Another shows the baby surrounded by her immediate family – including “granny” Queen Elizabeth – in the drawing room of Sandringham House, the queen’s private Norfolk residence, according to the Daily Mail.

BBC royal correspondent Peter Hunt reports that this is the first time the queen has been photographed by Testino, who famously shot the late Princess Diana’s last official portrait.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their whole family had a wonderful day on Sunday and were delighted to share the special occasion with the thousands of people who came to Sandringham,” said a palace spokesman.

“They are very happy to share these photographs and hope that everyone enjoys them as much as they do.”
