The Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl made headlines last month when he broke his right leg during a concert in Sweden.

But if you think that stopped him from performing in Washington, D.C., on Independence Day, you thought wrong.

Instead, Grohl designed a special throne so he could prop his injured leg up while he rocked out at the Foo Fighters 20th Anniversary Blowout.

It was the band’s first concert since the accident, which forced them to cancel their European tour.

Here’s Grohl telling the crowd about his accident during the concert (warning — language is NSFW):

“Nothing is impossible in the Foo Fighters’ world,” Grohl told the crowd.
