Courtney Love got caught in a violent street riot in Paris on Thursday and showed her Twitter and Instagram followers how the scary events unfolded.

Right after landing at Charles de Gaulle airport the car that she was riding in was smashed up and her driver was “taken hostage” by cabbies protesting against Uber.

The scene grew very violent, with rioters even overturning some Uber-driven cars.

“They’ve ambushed our car and are holding our driver hostage. They're beating the cars with metal bats. This is France?? I'm safer in Baghdad,” a terrified Love tweeted.

In one of her tweets she lashed out at France’s president, asking “where are the (bleeping) police??? Is it legal for your people to attack visitors? Get your a** to the airport. Wtf???”

She escaped the scene by catching a ride with two motorcyclists.

Here’s how everything unfolded.
