Fox News broke up with Sarah Palin, for a second time, earlier this month, Politico reported on Wednesday.
A Fox spokesman confirmed that Palin stopped working for the network as a contributor on June 1. The split was described as amicable.
Alaska’s former governor is still expected to make guest appearances on various Fox shows, according to Politico, which suggested that the network’s execs don’t think she’s as relevant as she has been in the past.
Plus, that pesky time difference between Alaska and Fox headquarters apparently made her appearances difficult to schedule.
Snarked Mother Jones: “Now she'll presumably have more time to pick imaginary fights with Liz Warren on her web series.”
Palin, who was John McCain’s vice presidential candidate in 2008, joined Fox in 2010 and left the first time in 2013. She rejoined just a few months later.
