Ed Sheeran is many things — a talented singer, a best friend to Taylor Swift (but who isn’t), a master of cover songs and an expert at surprise serenades.
His latest antic, though, is his most adorable yet. While strolling through a Canadian mall Sunday, Sheeran heard 13-year-old Sydney Bourbeau singing his latest hit, “Thinking Out Loud,” as part of a fundraiser.
Sheeran’s cousin started filming as Sheeran rushed to the stage to join her for an impromptu duet.

Bourbeau told the Edmonton Journal she first thought someone was coming on stage to fix the microphone.
“I was like, should I stop? I didn’t want to stop, but I wanted to talk to him,” Bourbeau said. “This is like, the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”
Bourbeau’s unbelievable day got even better when she received a text from Sheeran’s manager offering her two tickets to an upcoming show.
We can’t promise a mall duet, but Sheeran will be in Kansas City June 27 when he opens for the Rolling Stones at Arrowhead Stadium if you want to witness his perfection in person.
