Is it all over for Marge and Homer Simpson after all these years? And is “Girls” star Lena Dunham a homewrecker?
Kinda lookin’ that way.
In an interview with Variety, “The Simpsons” producer Al Jean says that Marge and Homer will legally separate in the premiere of its 27th season on Sept. 27.
“In the premiere, it's discovered after all the years Homer has narcolepsy and it's an incredible strain on the marriage,” Jean said.

“Homer and Marge legally separate, and Homer falls in love with his pharmacist, who’s voiced by Lena Dunham. We'll have cameos from the other women from ‘Girls.’”
The news left fans of the show stunned as they tried to process the news.
Jean also spilled that Lisa will befriend a homeless woman who turns out to be a great singer with Natalie Maines’ voice. Watch for the return of Spider-Pig, too.
And Homer will try, once again, to make his vote count in a presidential election.
“We’re definitely going to have Homer vote in 2016,” says Jean. “He voted for Romney in 2012 because he invented Obamacare. He tried to voted for Obama in 2008 but all his votes went to McCain.”
Whoever he decides to vote for next year, says Jean, “it’s not going to happen.”
Oh, and Sideshow Bob is finally going to kill Bart in the new season.
