Talk about making the best of a really bad situation.
When stormy weather delayed their flight to Orlando six hours at New York’s LaGuardia Airport on Sunday, the casts of the Broadway shows “The Lion King” and “Aladdin” entertained stranded travelers, and themselves, with an a cappella sing-off.
People typically have to pay big bucks to hear singing like this on Broadway.
The entertainment included a freestyle rap by Tony winner James Monroe Iglehart, who won the award for his role as the Genie in “Aladdin.” And the group sang the showstopping numbers “Arabian Nights” and “Circle of Life.”
