Michael Buble is being accused of body shaming and misogyny after he posted a photo on his Instagram account of an anonymous woman in Miami wearing really short shorts.

The photo was apparently taken by the “Feeling Good” singer’s wife, model/actress Luisana Lopilato.

“There was something about this photo lu took that seemed worthy of instagram,” Buble wrote on the picture, posted on Monday.

The Miami Herald reports that the couple arrived in Miami on Saturday with their son Noah.

It’s not clear if Buble knows the woman in the photo, who can only be seen from behind. If he doesn’t, he’s clearly guilty of taking a picture of someone without their permission.

But it’s the series of hashtags he marked the photo with that has drawn fire: #myhumps #babygotback #hungryshorts #onlyinmiami #picoftheday #beautifulbum.

Some folks asked him to delete the photo, which he had not done as of Friday morning. Others called him a body shamer.

Some people just don’t understand the fuss.

Opinions posted to his Instagram account are mixed.

“Its not like we see girls wear these shorts on the norm, plus she's totally asking to be looked at let's be real. And if Michael IG her, you know she's loving it!!”

“Reading the comments of women saying it's a compliment to have photos of this taken them with no consent makes me want to vomit.”

The Miami newspaper pointed out that “we locals have seen way may revealing attire than this young lady's cheeky hot pants around town.”

What do you think?
