David Hasselhoff released a new single on Thursday, the lead track for the martial-arts film, “Kung Fury,” and suddenly everyone is flashing back to the ‘80s.
The video for “True Survivor” has dinosaurs (Hasselhoff rides one), explosions, gunfire, video game references and a cool car that would make Marty McFly jealous.
“If you blended the soundtracks of Tron, The Karate Kid and every Brat Pack movie, it would sound a little something like this,” writes Idolator.
The makers of “Kung Fury,” a film that raised $630,000 on Kickstarter, call the movie “a visually spectacular action comedy that has its foundation in '80s cop movies.”

Visually spectacular is what we’d call this video, too.
The movie is set to debut on YouTube on May 28.
