The Big Slick Celebrity Weekend red carpet is always a sight to behold, with big-name stars waving to regular folks in Overland Park. But last year, celebrity guest James Marsden took it a step further, posing like a model and pretending to flip his imaginary long locks.

Marsden, along with fellow actor Samm Levine and magician Blake Vogt, are the latest batch of guests to be announced for the fundraiser June 23-24.

Marsden has starred in “Enchanted” and the “X-Men” movies, and in “Anchorman 2” he appeared with Big Slick hosts Paul Rudd and David Koechner — who last year tried his best to one-up Marsden by vamping his way on the red carpet as well. Marsden stars on HBO’s “Westworld,” and at last year’s Big Slick auction, his donation of two packages to the show’s premiere netted $60,000.

Levine, a Big Slick regular, appeared with Rudd in “Wet Hot American Summer,” as well as “Freaks and Geeks” and “Inglourious Basterds.” Vogt found new fame on “America’s Got Talent” last year. This is his Big Slick debut.

Big Slick is announcing three guests every weekday through June 16. Tuesday’s initial celebrity announcement included funny guys Weird Al Yankovic and Johnny Knoxville and CNN’s Jake Tapper. On Wednesday: actors Jermaine Fowler, Aisha Tyler and Kevin Pollak. On Thursday: sportscaster Curt Menefee and comedian/actors Joe Lo Truglio and Will Forte.

The celebrities will join hometown hosts Rob Riggle, Jason Sudeikis, Eric Stonestreet, Rudd and Koechner to raise money for the Cancer Center at Children’s Mercy hospital.

Events include a softball game at 5 p.m. June 23 at Kauffman Stadium; the 8:30 a.m. block party, red carpet arrival and bowling tournament June 24 at Pinstripes in Prairiefire and the sold-out auction and party that evening at the Arvest Bank Theatre at the Midland.
