What a wacky morning when Marion “Suge” Knight walked into a Los Angeles courtroom on Friday for a bail review hearing, where he collapsed and his lawyer referenced the hit TV show, “Empire.”

(Spoiler coming.)

TMZ reports that the former rap music mogul fainted after the hearing and was taken by ambulance to a hospital.

“Just, bam,” Knight’s lawyer, Matthew Fletcher, told The Los Angeles Times. “He's unconscious right now.”

During the hearing a judge granted a Los Angeles prosecutor’s motion to set bail at $25 million because of Knight’s violent history.

He’s been held without bail since early February after being charged with murder, attempted murder and hit-and-run after he hit two men with his truck. Terry Carter was killed in the incident.

The Death Row Records co-founder has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

In court on Friday Fletcher accused the prosecutor of watching too much “Empire,” according to TMZ.

Fletcher compared Knight to the show’s Lucious Lyon character, who was arrested for murder on the show’s finale this week.

“It's like she watches ‘Empire’ and comes in and says, ‘He was an unrepentant and shameless criminal. Prosecute him,” Fletcher said, according to TMZ.
