Child services authorities interviewed “Flip or Flop” star Christina El Moussa after her 1-year-old son fell into the family swimming pool on Monday, according to TMZ.
Brayden, the son of El Moussa and her estranged husband, Tarek, was being watched by a nanny when the incident happened. The nanny quickly picked him up, and Brayden was never unconscious, TMZ reported.
When El Moussa returned home and the nanny told her what happened, she took her son to the hospital to make sure he was OK.
“Christina wanted to be overly cautious by taking him to the hospital because she does not take this incident lightly,” a source close to the HGTV star told People.

TMZ reported that child services officials interviewed El Moussa and the nanny at the hospital and decided the incident was an accident. They took no further action.
A source told E! that “CPS being called is part of protocol for water-related issues.”
TMZ added the nanny still has a job.
Brayden “is doing great and is happy and laughing as usual” after the incident, said People’s source.
In March, some people criticized El Moussa for photos she posted to Instagram of her and her two children around their swimming pool in California. Some mommy-shamed her for sharing photos of herself in a bikini with her 6-year-old daughter, Taylor, who wore a coordinating bikini.
Others said it was “scary” to see Brayden so close to the pool.
El Moussa shot back at the critics.
“OMG 1. It’s a beach entry if he fell in it’s only a foot high, he would be ok,” she responded. “2. It’s not his first time in or around the pool, but thanks for your ‘concern’ aka judgment 3. AND most importantly I am right there and could be to him in 3 seconds SMH at this.....!!!!”
El Moussa and her husband, who separated last year, are in the process of getting divorced but are still filming episodes of their popular HGTV show. Tarek has said they split custody of their two young children “about 50/50.”
