Sheldon Cooper is a married man.
Just days after the season finale of “The Big Bang Theory,” Jim Parsons — who plays Cooper on the CBS hit comedy — married his partner of 14 years, graphic designer Todd Spiewak.
Page Six was the first to report the wedding. Then on Monday morning Parsons posted a photo from the ceremony, which took place at the famous Rainbow Room in New York City.
Parsons promised “more pics to come.”

Parsons is known for keeping his private life private. A 2012 New York Times profile simply mentioned in passing that he is gay and, at the time, in a 10-year-relationship. The revelation quickly made entertainment headlines.
He also spoke of Spiewak in 2013 when he received a GLSEN Respect Awards.
“I’ve never considered myself an activist,” Parsons said. “I’ve never considered my relationship with Todd to be an act of activism. Rather simply, it’s an act of love – coffee in the morning, going to work, washing the clothes, taking the dogs out – a regular life, boring love.”
To mark their 14th anniversary together last year Parsons posted a photo of the happy couple on Instagram.
“I met this guy … 14 years ago today and it was the best thing that ever happened to me, no contest,” he wrote.
Parsons and his co-stars are among TV’s highest-paid stars, earning $900,000 per episode, according to The Hollywood Reporter. CBS has picked up its No. 1 scripted show for two more years.
In the season’s cliffhanger finale last week, Parson’s character, Sheldon, proposed to his girlfriend, Amy, played by Mayim Bialik.
