That growing buzz you hear is from Melissa McCarthy fans who can’t wait for Saturday night.

McCarthy will host “Saturday Night Live” this weekend, and you can stop wondering now whether she’ll do her Sean Spicer impersonation.

A promo released Wednesday shows McCarthy twirling and lip-synching to “I Feel Pretty” from “West Side Story” as she gets into character as the White House press secretary.

McCarthy’s Spicer routines, which debuted in February, have become instant “SNL” classics. In case you haven’t seen one:

Could there be any better timing for her to host, this week of all weeks?

Spicer reportedly hid near/around/behind some bushes outside the White House on Tuesday night before speaking to reporters about the surprise firing of FBI director James Comey.

Maybe McCarthy’s “Spicey” will hold a press conference in the shrubs?

“SNL” fans are already praying to the comedy gods.

Saturday’s episode will air live in all time zones. Haim is the musical guest.

Next weekend Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will host the season finale with Katy Perry as the musical guest.

Could there be any better timing for the Rock to host? Johnson just told GQ that a presidential run is “a real possibility.”
