“This was not one of our greatest days.”
That was how “Jeopardy” host Alex Trebek summed up Wednesday’s episode that ended with just one of the three contestants in the final around.
When her two competitors ended the game with negative dollar amounts, Kristin Sausville found herself all alone for Final Jeopardy.
“The vibe in the studio was shock,” the 34-year-old stay-at-home mom told People.

She said it was “more nerve-wracking” to be the only person on stage.
“On the one hand, it was nice not to have to worry about what anyone else was wagering,” she said, “but at the same time, it meant that all of the contestant coordinators, compliance people, and stage crew were standing around me.”
Trebek jokingly told her, “Kristin, I think you’re going to win.”
