Actor Windell Middlebrooks, known to many as the delivery guy in the Miller High Life commercials, was also known to Disney Channel fans for his work on some of their favorite shows.
And they took to Twitter Tuesday night to mourn his death.
Middlebrooks died Monday in the Los Angeles area at the age of 36, his manager and friend Steve Ivy announced. Cause of death was not immediately released.
In a statement, Middlebrooks' family members said the actor – whose credits included the TV shows “Body of Proof,” “Cougar Town” and “Scrubs” – exited the stage with “great joy.”

“It was Windell's biggest wish that his final scene not be lived on social media,” his family said, asking for privacy.
But social media is exactly where his youngest fans turned to mourn. On Twitter, RIP Kirby trended nationwide.
Kirby Morris was the name of Middlebrooks’ security guard character on “The Suite Life on Deck,” a spinoff of the network’s hit series “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.”
Reporting his death, teen celebrity magazine J-14 wrote that it was “heartbroken” by the news, noting that Middlebrooks also appeared on “Hannah Montana” and Disney XD’s “Mighty Med.”
Disney Channel stars Debby Ryan, Brenda Song and Cole Sprouse joined dozens of others who tweeted condolences.
