TMZ has released video of the Jan. 29 hit-and-run allegedly involving Marion “Suge” Knight in which one man died. The rap mogul has pleaded not guilty to murder, attempted murder and hit-and-run charges.

The Death Row Records founder is accused of intentionally running down and killing a friend. Another man was injured in the incident.

The video shows a man run up to a truck as he pulls into a parking lot. The man is said to be Cle “Bone” Sloan, who appears to be trying to attack Knight through the driver’s window.

The driver throws the truck in reverse, clipping Sloan with a side mirror and knocking him down. Then the driver pulls into the lot, running over Terry Carter, who died.

Knight’s lawyers say that both Sloan and Carter had guns and that Knight was trying to escape because he feared for his life. They believe that this video exonerates him and backs up his claims.

Carter’s family asked TMZ to post the video.

“The Carter family is pleased you are releasing the video so the public can see what actually occurred and not be forced to speculate based on third party descriptions of the video,” Gary Dordick, the family’s attorney, told TMZ.
