Why Chris Pratt’s selfies with Jennifer Lawrence are so hilarious

Actor Chris Pratt is having way too much fun as he does interviews in Europe ahead of the release of the movie “Passengers.”

Pratt has shared a number of photos on his Instagram account of himself with co-star Jennifer Lawrence. One problem: Pratt “accidentally” cuts out most or all of Lawrence’s face in the photos.

That’s a dig at — and salute to — the fact that J-Law will likely never join social media.

In September, she explained to People magazine her feelings on Twitter, Facebook and other social media: “All that doesn’t interest me for a second!”

And she added: “I’m always hundreds of emails behind.”

“Passengers” stars Pratt and Lawrence, about two people who awaken 90 years early while on a ship traveling to a distant colony planet. It opens Dec. 21.

Outside of press photos, Lawrence’s fans will have to live with these snippets.
