Australian rapper Iggy Azalea has quit Twitter after nasty comments were posted about paparazzi photos taken of her in a bikini.
She was vacationing with her boyfriend, Los Angeles Laker Nick Young, in Hawaii on Sunday. When photos of her became public some people made fun of her body on Twitter.
“Just got back from a great vacation, came online and saw apparently it’s shocking and unheard of to be a woman and have cellulite. Lol,” she tweeted upon her return.
“I just want to have peace and relaxation time without a perve (sic) with long distance lense (sic) hiding out taking pictures, everyone deserves peace.”

But it sounds like the “Fancy” singer decided that she’s had enough, saying that she finds social media “negative and draining.”
In a series of tweets on Thursday, she explained:
“'I want you to know I am taking some time away from social media. I need to be happy and it is too negative and draining.
“To become nasty because of the way I feel I am treated would be a disservice to my fans and I promise I will try to keep smiling.
“I feel the hatred and pettiness I see online at all times is making me become an angry person and I cannot be that.”
Summing it up, she wrote: “The Internet is the ugliest reflection of man kind (sic) there is.”
Azalea and social media have had a strained relationship. She herself has used the platform to publicly argue with Snoop Dogg, black rapper Azealia Banks and several others.
She said that her staff will manage her social media accounts for now.
