There’s cabin fever and then, in Boston, there’s this.
The city has had so much snow this winter – with even more on the way – that some of its citizens have started entertaining themselves by diving out of windows and off their porches into the deep snow.
Videos of the snow jumpers have been hitting social media in recent days.
Now Boston Mayor Marty Walsh has had to waste his breath to deliver this message to these chuckleheads: Stop it!

“I’m asking people to stop their nonsense right now. These are adults jumping out windows,” Walsh said at a Tuesday press conference about snow removal, according to the Boston Herald.
“It’s a foolish thing to do and you could kill yourself.”
He begged Bostonians to act responsibly.
“This isn’t Loon Mountain, this is the city of Boston, where we’re trying to remove snow off of the street and it becomes very dangerous,” said Walsh.
“And the last thing we want to do is respond to an emergency call where somebody jumped out of the window because they thought it was a funny thing to do.”
