Rascal Flatts fans got an extra dose of adorable this Independence Day when the band’s bassist Jay DeMarcus invited his 3-year-old son, Dylan Jay, on stage to sing “Life is a Highway.”
At 20 seconds into a video of the show, DeMarcus says to the crowd, “Come on, everybody sing it!” And at the 1-minute mark, he points his microphone to the audience as they sing along with Dylan Jay.
DeMarcus spent the Fourth of July in Hilton Head, S.C. He played for a crowd in Harbour Town.
The Rascal Flatts are returning to Bonner Springs to play at the Providence Medical Center Amphitheater at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 29. Their 2014 show there attracted nearly 10,000 fans. Ticket prices range from $26 to $309.
