Rush, the Canadian progressive rock band, has announced what it is calling its 40th anniversary tour -- “R40 Live” -- and it stops at the Sprint Center on July 9, a Thursday.
Ticket information is forthcoming.
In a press released, the band said, “These not-to-be-missed concerts will highlight four decades of the band’s music (and) will most likely be their last major tour of this magnitude.”
Rush’s previous performance in Kansas City was Aug. 4, 2013, at the Sprint Center.

The R40 Live tour also stops in Lincoln, Neb., on May 10 and St. Louis on May 14.
