Gwen Stefani this summer will launch her first full-fledged tour since 2007, and it includes a stop at the Sprint Center in August.

The This Is What the Truth Feels Like Tour will stop in more than two dozen North American cities, including Kansas City on Aug. 12, a Friday. Hip-hop star Eve will open the show. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the Sprint Center box office and LiveNation.com or by calling 888-929-7849. The tour also stops in St. Louis on Aug. 10.

The tour is named after Stefani’s most recent album, which was released in March. Stefani, who is a judge on the talent show “The Voice,” last performed in Kansas City in July 2009 when she toured with No Doubt, the band she co-founded in California in the late 1980s. This will be her first solo performance in Kansas City. In 2015, Stefani performed solo shows at theaters in New York and Los Angeles that was part of a promotional tour for a credit card company.
