KCPT documentary to take viewers inside Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland will be the focus of a one-hour documentary that will air at 9 p.m. Wednesday on KCPT (Channel 19).

“Soundtracks: The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum” is narrated by Steven Van Zandt of the E Street Band and features interviews with inductees and commentary from musicians and record industry executives, including Graham Nash, Darryl McDaniels of Run-DMC, Ann Wilson of Heart, Micky Hart of the Grateful Dead and Seymour Stein of Sire Records.

Viewers will also see some of the memorabilia on display in the museum, such as the Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper outfits and handwritten lyrics to songs like “London Calling,” written by Joe Strummer of the Clash, and “Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds,” written by John Lennon.
