Van Halen announced a summer/fall tour beginning in July.

They’re scheduled to perform Wednesday, July 22 at Cricket Wireless Amphitheater in Bonner Springs.

The band -- David Lee Roth, Eddie Van Halen, Alex Van Halen and Wolfgang Van Halen -- will mark the announcement with a March 30 performance on Hollywood Boulevard that will be broadcast on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

The Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band will open for Van Halen at all of their dates.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale to the general public beginning on April 4.

Van Halen last toured in 2013, though their last major North American outing took place in 2012.
