If you love the ’90s, you might want to sit down for this one.
New Kids on the Block, the Boston boy band behind the megahits “Hangin’ Tough” and “Step by Step,” just announced a 2017 Total Package Tour with Paula Abdul and Boyz II Men — and the 40-date tour includes a June 12 stop at Kansas City’s Sprint Center.
The tour marks the first in 25 years for Abdul, the pop icon who brought us “Straight Up” and “Opposites Attract.” Guess she meant it when she sang she was “Forever Your Girl.”
Boyz II Men, a four-time Grammy Award-winning group known for irresistible slow jams such as “It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday” and “I’ll Make Love to You,” came to Kansas City last month to perform with the Kansas City Symphony at the Kauffman Center.
