Robert Trussell | ‘The Accidental Waiter’ celebrates Chaplin in modern times

Damian Blake’s skills as a Charlie Chaplin impersonator dovetail beautifully with “The Accidental Waiter,” a charming exercise in dialogue-free theater that celebrates the aesthetics of silent screen comedy. Staged in the upstairs banquet room of Lidia’s Restaurant, the production is a showcase for pantomime, slapstick and a rich repertoire of physical-theater techniques.
