Robert Trussell | Victorian hypocrisy has a current ring in ‘Earnest’

The production of “The Importance of Being Earnest” now on Broadway is simply an impeccably staged piece of theater. The comedy is fresh and crisp and shows its age only in the sense that Oscar Wilde was entertaining himself by skewering hoary theatrical conventions of the 19th century.
