The circus is coming to Kansas City, Kansas this weekend. Here’s what to know
The circus is back in town. Garden Bros Nuclear Circus is bringing its wild acts to Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas between April 8 and April 10.
Themed ‘Humans Gone Wild,’ the show is packed with special acts including a human cannonball and woman hanging in the air from her hair, according to the website.
Tickets for the show start at $14.50 and can go up to $60. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door on show day. There are around two to three shows each day between Friday, April 8 and Sunday, April 10.
Kids under 13 all have the opportunity to see the circus for free. Ages 2 and under don’t need a ticket. Children who are ages 3 to 13 years old will need to grab a free ticket either with the purchase of an adult ticket, or kids can receive vouchers from a number of participating schools, recreation centers and local businesses.
All the fun and excitement is set to last around an hour and a half under the Garden Bros. famous big top area. There will also be a kids zone for the little ones who want to get their face painted or play in the bounce house.
If you’re looking to get your funnel cake fix or scarf down some cotton candy or snow cones, there will be plenty of that and more available. However, outside food will not be permitted into the circus.
