Actor Corey Feldman has released a photo of the wound he says he received earlier this week when someone allegedly stabbed him in the stomach while he was sitting in his car in Los Angeles.
Feldman, 46, tweeted photos of himself in the hospital after the Tuesday night incident, but didn't show the wound. He described it as an ambush-style attack and characterized it as an "attempted homicide," though the police version of the incident didn't square with that.
Police told Page Six they are investigating the case as a random road rage incident and have said there was no stabbing.
The photo Feldman posted late Thursday shows a tiny red mark on skin.
"THE WORLDS SMALLEST KNIFE WOUND.....OR?!?! YES I WAS ATTACKED 2 DAYS AGO, YES THEY USED SOME SORT OF SHARP WEAPON, AND YES IT WENT INTO MY BODY!" he wrote on Instagram.
"THIS IS WHAT THE SCAR LOOKS LIKE NOW, OBVIOUSLY IF IT WAS A KNIFE I GOT VERY LUCKY & IM BLESSED! IF IT WAS A SYRINGE, I WILL PRAY 4 THE BEST RESULTS! GOD BLESS!!"
“The wound is not serious, but it shook him up and scared him,” Feldman's attorney, Perry Wander, told Page Six. “He’s more on edge than he was before, and he was already on edge.”
Wander believes Feldman might have suffered a defensive wound during the scuffle.
Feldman, who had speculated he was stabbed with a syringe, was later tested for infections, People reported.
His bodyguard, who was with him at the time of the attack, told TMZ on Thursday those tests came back clean of any hard drugs or infectious diseases. Feldman told TMZ he felt a sharp object slightly penetrate his skin, drawing a tiny bit of blood.
LAPD officials told the media that Feldman was stopped at an intersection Tuesday night when an unknown male approached the driver's side — Feldman was driving — made a stabbing motion toward the actor's stomach and fled. Police say Feldman drove himself to a hospital.
Feldman believes the attack was retaliation for his campaign to expose an alleged “pedophile ring” in Hollywood.
For several years, the former "Goonies" and "Stand By Me" star has alleged that he and fellow child actor and friend, the late Corey Haim, were sexually abused in Hollywood when they were younger.
Feldman tweeted about "mounting threats" on all his social media platforms by what he described as "this vile 'Wolfpack'" and was sure the attack "is a result of those negative actions."
Wander told Page Six that Feldman has been paranoid since launching his crusade.
LAPD says an investigation into the incident is ongoing. The police told Page Six that Feldman likely wouldn't be charged with filing a false report because he really believes he was stabbed.
