If one of your New Year's resolutions is to read more in 2011, here are four highly anticipated books set for release in the first half of the year.
1) " The Lake of Dreams," by Kim Edwards. The author of "The Memory Keeper's Daughter" is back with her second novel, the story of Lucy Jarrett and her discovery of a hidden past in the Finger Lakes area of upstate New York. It's set for release on Tuesday.
2) " The Pioneer Woman: Black Heels to Tractor Wheels — A Love Story," by Ree Drummond. Drummond has found enormous success with her blog, www.ThePioneerWoman.com, and now writes her first book, an account of her unlikely romance and eventual marriage to an Oklahoma cattle rancher. It's due out in February.
3) " Sing You Home," by Jodi Picoult. The author of 17 novels, including "My Sister's Keeper," now tackles the topic of what it means to be gay in today's world, and how reproductive science has outstripped the legal system. Her novel is set for release on March 1.

4) "Dead Reckoning," by Charlaine Harris, is the 11th book in the Sookie Stackhouse series, on which the HBO hit vampire series "True Blood" is based. The book is due out on May 3.
