A Missouri trooper's dash camera caught a bear's mad dash as it crossed U.S. 60 in south-central Missouri. The bear made it most of the way before crashing into a truck. The bear was not seriously injured.
This is an example of the BoarBuster hog trap, a steel cage that's remotely operated by the Missouri Department of Conservation to catch feral hogs. Conservation staffers can activate the trap on their phones, tablets or computers when they're alerted that feral hogs are within the trap's boundaries. This particular video shows hogs being trapped in Oklahoma, but the theory is the same.
In 2015, this historic clock that stood outside Union Station was severely damaged in a storm and removed for repair. On Tuesday, the refurbished clock was reinstalled in the new South Plaza area in front of the station, created as part of the Western Expansion Project.
