Hurricane-force winds swept through the Kansas City area overnight, damaging trees, power lines and buildings. The hardest hit areas were in the Northland and Indpendence. Mary Wise of Gladstone, MO., sits upon the wreckage. Her Gladstone house was among Friday's damaged houses.
