The cheer went up as over 1,600 guitarists finished playing Deep Purple's "Smoke on the Water" on Sunday, June 3, 2007, while trying to set a new record of the most guitarists playing a song simultaneously. The attempt, organized by radio station KYYS, was at Community America Ballpark in Wyandotte County.
