'I married Dee Dee Ramone...and I have some good dirt to dish.'

More News

A book by Dee Dee Ramone’s wife about her marriage to the punk musician could be hung up by legal troubles, according to the Associated Press.

The executor of Ramone’s estate, Ira Herzog, says he was supposed to be able to review and change anything written about the bassist, who was with the Ramones from 1974 to 1989. Herzog has filed a lawsuit to halt the book’s publication.

We’re eager to hear some stories from the book, titled “Poisoned Heart: I Married Dee Dee Ramone.” Any woman brave enough to marry a Ramone has some good dirt to dish. Dee Dee, who wrote “53rd and 3rd” about turning tricks for drugs, died in 2002 of a heroin overdose. He was 50.
