DETROIT | Green Bay led 21-0 midway through the second quarter but fell behind by a point with 7:41 left after Calvin Johnson caught his second TD in the fourth quarter.
The Packers went back ahead with a field goal on the ensuing drive and then turned the game back into the rout it had been with three straight interceptions. Charles Woodson and Nick Collins returned two of the picks for touchdowns.
Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was 24 of 38 for 328 yards, three scores and a fumble in his first start on the road and his first fourth-quarter comeback.
“We just kept pushing the envelope, and I think that speaks volumes about the coaches and everybody involved to have confidence with Aaron to stay aggressive,” coach Mike McCarthy said.
Greg Jennings caught six passes for 167 yards, including a 60-yard gain that set up Mason Crosby’s go-ahead field goal with 5:17 to go.
Donald Driver, James Jones and Jordy Nelson all had TD receptions from Rodgers.
“We have a lot of confidence that he’s going to find whichever one of us is open,” Jennings said.
Colts 18, Vikings 15
MINNEAPOLIS | Taking a beating all afternoon, Colts quarterback Peyton Manning peeled himself off the Metrodome turf and gave it right back to the Minnesota defense.
Manning rallied Indianapolis from a 15-0 hole late in the third quarter, moving Adam Vinatieri into position for the winning field goal with 3 seconds left.
Avoiding his first 0-2 start since his rookie season in 1998, Manning zinged a 20-yard pass on third and 9 to Reggie Wayne up the seam before Vinatieri — who uncharacteristically missed a 30-yarder earlier — for a 47-yard kick.
Minnesota, 0-2, wasted yet another strong effort by a dominant defense, failing again to figure out that pesky old forward pass.
Adrian Peterson rushed for 118 of his 160 yards in the first half, and the Vikings were in the Colts’ half of the field on their first eight possessions — coming away with five field goals by Ryan Longwell, three punts and an extra bit of frustration.
Minnesota quarterback Tarvaris Jackson finished 14 for 24 for 130 yards and one lost fumble.
Titans 24, Bengals 7
CINCINNATI | Titans backup quarterback Kerry Collins, playing for the injured Vince Young, threw low, tight passes that stayed on track in Cincinnati’s wind-tunnel of a stadium as gusts reached 50 mph.
Collins threw his first touchdown pass in two years, and rookie Chris Johnson ran for 109 yards. Linebacker Keith Bulluck provided the clincher, blocking Kyle Larson’s punt in the end zone with his right arm, then snatching the ball off the ground for another touchdown.
At 2-0, the Titans are off to their best start since 1999, when they won their first three games and made the only Super Bowl appearance in franchise history.
Cardinals 31, Dolphins 10
GLENDALE, Ariz. | Kurt Warner completed 19 of 24 passes for 361 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions. Anquan Boldin caught all three scores and finished with six receptions for 140 yards, a franchise-record 22nd time he’s passed the century mark. Larry Fitzgerald, meanwhile, had 153 receiving yards, his 14th 100-yard game. It was the sixth time the pair had topped 100 yards in the same game.
Warner had a perfect 158.3 passer rating for the third time in his career, tying Peyton Manning for the NFL record. Arizona’s Edgerrin James gained 55 yards in 18 carries and became the 14th player in NFL history to surpass 15,000 career yards from scrimmage. The Dolphins, 0-2, lost their 11th straight road game.
