Sports week ahead: T-Bones vie for Northern League title

More News

The T-Bones are three wins away from winning their first championship since the Northern League came to Kansas City, Kan., in 2003.

The first two games of the championship series against the Gary RailCats will be played at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at CommunityAmerica Ballpark.

OK, maybe it’s not the Super Bowl or the World Series. Still, this is a Kansas City team playing for a championship. The T-Bones have been one of the best-supported teams in all of minor-league baseball during their existence, so this is no time to turn a blind eye.
