MANHATTAN, Kan. | Linebacker John Houlik will serve a three-game suspension for his Aug. 1 driving under the influence arrest, Kansas State announced this afternoon.
Houlik, a junior, will not practice with the team until the suspension is over. He’ll miss Saturday’s game against North Texas, Sept. 6 against Montana State and the Sept. 17 game at Louisville.
Houlik was arrested early Aug. 1 by Riley County police when he car was spotted near the 1200 block of Laramie driving up a curb and over a sidewalk.
A Wichita native who starred at Collegiate, Houlik has played in 21 games for the Wildcats, recording 76 tackles.
