The Star’s Blair Kerkhoff continues the countdown of our preseason top-25 college football teams.

6 GEORGIA BULLDOGS
•LAST SEASON: 11-2 overall, 6-2 Southeastern Conference

•RETURNING STARTERS: 17

•OUTLOOK: The Bulldogs will start No. 1 in the polls, and they’re loaded on both sides. Quarterback Matthew Stafford and running back Knowshon Moreno lead the offense, and everybody contributes on an attacking defense with nine returning starters. Georgia played lights out the second half of last season, toying with Colt Brennan and Hawaii in the Sugar Bowl. The schedule is a killer with games at Arizona State, LSU and Auburn, but the Dawgs are undaunted. “To be honest with you, I feel pretty blessed,” coach Mark Richt said.
