•MIAMI HEAT (25 percent)
Beasley need: The Heat actually may need a point guard more, and Memphis’ Derrick Rose would step right in ahead of Jason Williams and Chris Quinn. But this team needs so much, it couldn’t go wrong with a scorer and rebounder like Beasley.
•SEATTLE (OKLAHOMA CITY) SONICS (19.9 percent)
Beasley need: Imagine Beasley and Kevin Durant together. They are close friends and could be twin towers of sorts for this franchise. A point guard also is a need here, so you never know.
•MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES (13.8 percent)
Beasley need: Does Al Jefferson’s emergence make Beasley that much of a need? Again, like those who have better odds of landing the top selection, the T-Wolves could use a point guard.
•MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES (13.7 percent)
Beasley need: No question Beasley would be welcomed with open arms here. Since Pau Gasol went to the Los Angeles Lakers, the Grizz has an opening for the Beaz.
•NEW YORK KNICKS (7.6 percent)
Beasley need: From Little Apple to the Big Apple? Beasley would be a marketing dream, and what better place to have him stationed? The Knicks, though, also need a point guard.
•LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS (7.5 percent)
Beasley need: If Elton Brand leaves, Beasley would reduce the sting of Brand’s departure. Another team with point-guard shortcomings.
•MILWAUKEE BUCKS (4.3 percent)
Beasley need: He could make a nice complement to last year’s top pick, Yi Jianlian. The Bucks aren’t necessarily looking for guard help, so Beasley would be a no-brainer for them.
